Inaktiv;D Nico: Could you ask Jura if they ‚ve something like that?? 😉 ;D
Nico: I don’t get good coffee if I don’t push the beans. The trestertabs is then thin and small…. but there is coffee but not as good(to thin) as usual of course.
I would take photos of a trester-tab when I don’t push the beans and another photo of the tabs when I do.
I’ll also check the top of the grinderstones to see if I could spot anything suspicious. 8) 😮
Is it OK to put the pictures into this discussion/thread?Ralf: The brewing-process isn’t halted with the errormessage. It comes after the brewing of the cup has ended. And it is no problem to just ignore the message and draw another cup of coffee without doing anything… But of course the coffee isn’t as good as it is normally.
Thanks for all of your support.

That’s normal. But: I am sure, that the brewing time is not as long as it used to be?!?

InaktivI don’t think I would need to take photos.
I’ve emptied my trester, put a white paper in it, brewed a cup of espresso and analyzied the size and amount of the trestertab.
I managed to brew a cup without the „Fill beans“ error-message (rare occasion 😮 ) and the trestertab looked very much like the one you have on your photo. (splendid coffee also :P)
A new paper was inserted and when I brewed the next cup I’ve, as usual, got the error-message after the brew. I checked the trestertab from this brew and it was not even half the size of the first one. :'(So the answer to this situation must be that there isn’t enough of beans coming into the grinder.
The big question is then of course, why?
Could the grindingstones have been mounted incorrectly so that there is problem for the beans to get into the grinder. My first thought is that something is to narrow to let the beans through or could the beans be to big ??? ?When I use my fingers to press beans into the grinder it feels that there isn’t much space for the beans to get into the grinder….. but maybe that’s normal…

InaktivIn which way turns your grinder around?
clockwise oder counterclockwise?
Is the snail which is on the grindigstoner installed correctly. Because this snail carrys/pulls in the beans into the grinder.

InaktivHow could I check the direction of my grinder?
What’s the snail? Please is it possible for you to describe it?
