    Hi,

I have a strange problem with my steamer. It seems that it don’t give me full steam from time to time. I’ve used the steamer when the power was perfect and there were no problem at all to make good milk-bubbles. This is, from what I think, when I’ve used the machine for a while and not turning it off. When I start up the machine the steaming is poor which makes the milk-bubbling-procedure almost impossible. I only end up with hot milk with no bubbles at all.
Does anybody else have this problem, what’s wrong and what could I do?
I’ve ordered a PAC and I’m a bit afraid that the steampower wouldn’t be enough for it to work.
    I own an Impressa E75.

    Regards from Sweden

Did you decalcify the machine regularly?
Sometimes it happens, that the water gets not hot enough due to lime deposits.

    Hi Nico,

    Thanks for your answer.

I’ll try to decalcify my machine to see if something happens. I use a Claris filter which I thought reduced the need for decalcifying.
But I don’t think the problem is with the calc. Because I have the differences in steaming-power from day to day. As I’ve tried to describe earlier I suspect that if I’ve used the machine a few times before I steam, the power is all there. But I’m not sure of this.

Your problem seems a little bit strange to me.   ???

Even if you use a filter, the machine should be decalcified regularly.  The machine shouldn’t be decalcified as often as without using a filter. But all 1000-1500 cups it should be done.

Unfortunately Jura does not write that into the operating instructions. >:(

Therefore most users think that their machine with filter needn’t to be decalcifyed.   😮
    -mistake-
The most frequent error of these machines are problems with calc. 😉

It also could be that your temperature sensor isn’t tightened well to the heatingsystem.

    ….but try decalcifiying first…. ;D

I’ve tried a few things and it seems that I have a new possibility to build up steam-power.
When I’m going to steam I start the steaming and then turn it off using the knob. I then switch it on again and repeat this a few times if necessary and…. ‚voila‘, good steaming-power and good bubbles in the milk.

Don’t know if something needs to be fixed but I’ll do the decalcifying soon.
